Why FoliagePal exists
Plant-care information is easy to find, but it is often detached from the plant in front of you. A species guide cannot remember where your pot sits, what you did last week, or whether the newest leaf is improving. FoliagePal is built to connect general knowledge with the plant’s actual environment and history.

An AI companion that can remember
The care companion can carry useful plant and conversation context forward, connect a question with current tasks and recent care, and help create reminders or records after you confirm the action. Long-term memories are visible and can be deleted.
How we approach plant guidance
We design guidance around observation rather than pretending every plant follows one universal calendar. Content should answer the question directly, distinguish facts from uncertainty, preserve important conditions and exceptions, and give the reader a practical next step.
Plant responses still vary with cultivar, climate, potting mix, container, and home conditions. The app supports decisions; it does not replace looking at the plant.
What we do not claim
AI output can be wrong, look-alike plants can be difficult to distinguish from a photo, and symptoms can share several causes. FoliagePal is not an emergency, poison, veterinary, pesticide, or professional botanical service, and should not be the only basis for safety-critical decisions.
Privacy and user control
Plant profiles, photos, conversations, and memories can contain personal context. Our product design gives users paths to review care-companion memories, delete long-term memories, and request account deletion under the applicable product and privacy controls.
